The DC Alerts module offers out-of-the-box, real-time wireless reminders and notifications from Domino personal calendars to BlackBerry, Smartphones, pagers, and PDAs.

DC SIGN IN/OUT

At A Glance
With the introduction of Department Calendar 7.6, the Sign In/Out function has been separated from the calendar database and developed into its own feature-rich module.  The new Sign In/Out module provides you with a more secure method of defining which participants have access to other user’s Sign In/Out profiles.

With DC Sign In/Out, you will be able to:

• Take advantage of the new stand alone module by creating a single Sign In/Out board for your entire organization or for individual divisions. Because the Sign In/Out is no longer integrated with a specific Department Calendar, you can create one or more DC Sign In/Out databases for any team member. Instead of being responsible for managing multiple Sign In/Out boards, your users can save time by signing in and out in one main location. And, as always, sametime awareness is built into the views to give you up to the minute details of where your colleagues are currently in their schedule.   

DC GLOBAL CALENDAR

At A Glance
Now you can view all of your organization’s activities in one place! You can use this new, consolidated group calendar viewer to survey your organization’s complete schedule and manage your organizations’ events. DC Global Calendar allows you to create hierarchical group calendars that consolidate multiple Department Calendars into one high-level calendar. And the merging of calendars is completely controlled by the administrators so security is not an issue.

With DC Global Calendar, you will be able to:

• View calendar information details from multiple group calendars
  
• Choose either to share calendar information or to keep it contained to a specific group. Administrators must give the final approval before any content appears on the consolidated calendar.
  
• Gain a level of transparency by implementing a consolidated calendar
  
• Provide a valuable tool for management allowing them to easily track their departments activities

DC MASTER TIME OFF

At A Glance
DC Master Time Off creates a calendar showing all users’ time off requests in a single, consolidated calendar from multiple DC Time Off databases. This module works in conjunction with DC Time Off, providing time off managers with an easy-to-use tool for viewing and managing the time off requests of multiple users in one location.

With DC Master Time Off, you will be able to:

• Choose to share calendar information or keep it contained to a specific group since administrators must give the final approval before any content appears on the consolidated calendar
  
• Decide which Time Off calendars you wish to display on each Master Time Off calendar
  
• Increase convenience with one-click navigation between the calendar and individual time off entries
  
• Decide who can access each Master Time Off calendar, ensure the security of sensitive information
